Since David Raya joined Arsenal in the summer transfer window, there has been a lot of talk surrounding Arsenal’s goalkeeping situation. 

The fanbase was split between their love for former number one Aaron Ramsdale and the arriving Raya. While Mikel Arteta has stated that he wishes to keep both goalkeepers heading into next season, it seems unlikely that will be possible.

After moving to the Emirates in 2006, Arsenal have not had the strongest repertoire of goalkeepers, but some have stood head and shoulders above the rest.

3. David Raya

David Raya joined the club in the summer transfer window and after enduring a slightly shaky start, has flourished in an Arsenal shirt. While he sits only third on this list, at the moment, he should climb higher as time progresses.

At the time of writing, Raya is yet to concede a Champions League goal at the Emirates Stadium and has kept nine clean sheets in 22 Premier League games. 

The Spaniard is confident with the ball at his feet, allowing him to provide an option when the Gunners are in possession.

After almost a full season in an Arsenal shirt, Raya has grabbed the number one spot and is currently on course to win the Golden Glove, conceding an average of 0.86 goals per game in the Premier League.
