Wojciech Szczesny joined Arsenal’s academy as a youngster and eventually made his Premier League debut for the club in the 2010/11 season. Szczesny had previously appeared in the League Cup before spending time on loan at Brentford.

The Polish international made 132 appearances in the Premier League before leaving the Gunners for Juventus in 2017.

Szczesny kept 48 clean sheets in the Premier League with Arsenal, averaging a clean sheet in 36% of his Premier League appearances - an identical record to Petr Cech. The keeper conceded 154 goals in the league, with 1.17 goals conceded per game.

In the 2013/14 season, Szczesny won the Golden Glove in the Premier League with 16 clean sheets. During his time at Arsenal, he won two FA Cups and a Community Shield. However, Szczesny was partly responsible for defeat in the 2011 League Cup final, where a defensive mix-up saw Arsenal concede late on and gift Birmingham City the trophy.

The Pole has gone on to reach new heights in Turin.
