Arsenal may have handed the Premier League title to Manchester City again, as they failed to capitalise on Liverpool dropping points at the weekend. They put in a wasteful performance against Aston Villa, losing 2-0 at home and giving the advantage to Man City who undoubtedly have the easier title run in.
Unfortunately for Arsenal fans, it's something they've seen far too often. Although signs of improvement are undoubtedly there at the forefront, behind the exterior it's clear that Mikel Arteta needs some more world-beaters in the squad. That said, here are 3 game-changer signings Arsenal must make to become Premier League champions next season...

1. Ousmane Diomande
It will take a lot for Arsenal to replace William Saliba and Gabriel in the starting eleven. In truth, the centre back pairing is one of the only positions which doesn't need strengthening. However, the depth in this position DOES need strengthening.
Signing Ousmane Diomande from Sporting CP would be the perfect transfer for Mikel Arteta since it removes some of the pressure from Saliba and Gabriel. The Ivorian international is said to prefer a move to Arsenal rather than Chelsea, so he clearly knows a promising team when he sees one.
Diomande would be a rotational centre-back but he would be one of the best in the Premier League, meaning Mikel Arteta can rotate more freely between competitions.
