2. Joshua Kimmich
As per Bayern Strikes, Arsenal have approached Bayern Munich over the possibility of signing Joshua Kimmich. The Bayern legend is linked with a move away this summer, after falling out with the Bayern Munich higher-ups and, of course, the downfall of the club this season.
It is stated within the report that Bayern refuse to entertain any discourse surrounding Kimmich until the summer transfer window. So, while they have not rejected Arsenal's advances, they are keeping the Gunners on their toes. It goes without saying that the UCL quarterfinal tie has something to do with it since Bayern wouldn't like the two-legged clash to be centred around the future of Kimmich.
Joshua Kimmich is an exceptional player who has developed into one of the best midfielders in the world. It would work in Mikel Arteta's favour that Kimmich can also play in the defence and he has a great range of passing. This versatility is undoubtedly a reason why the excellent Arsenal recruitment team have identified Kimmich.
