Negative #2: Wasted chances persist

I know, I know - 'we won 3-0 and he is complaining about our attack', but a great end result should not gloss over a genuine concern.

Yes, for much of the game, we attacked and defended as one and showed excellence in both halves, but signs of wasted chances were there for all to see in the first half. Against a more clinical side in better form (with all due respect to Brighton), we could be punished for this.

The first half alone, before Saka's penalty, saw us given at least two if not three, or four clear goalscoring opportunities. While no team has a 100 percent chance conversion rate, seeing so many slip past us remains a source of frustration.

It is not a point that I wish to dwell on for too long given the result and I can imagine many of your responses, but plenty will also agree with me, like one fan who said:
