Positive #3: Glowing performances all-round

A 5-0 win, and I could not name a player who put in a sub-par performance - which is as much a positive as any from the game.

Even more impressive was the fact that, at times, we were dominating Chelsea and looked as though we were in second gear, allowing the players to conserve energy during a very busy period.

After some disappointing recent results, such control and dominance were truly amazing to see, and I speak for many fans, I think, when I say it has instilled new belief in me that maybe, just maybe, this could be our year.

Negative #3: Are we too dependent on certain players?

Again, I am nit-picking here.

Arteta made an unprecedented quadruple substitution in the 72nd minute, but many fans noticed a theme, which was that many of the Gunners' so-called 'irreplaceables' were not rested despite the five-goal advantage.

William Saliba, Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes, Declan Rice and Martin Ødegaard all played a full 90 minutes, despite a seemingly golden opportunity to offer them some rest.

It is possibly a sign that Arteta does not trust the side without these stars in, which is a cause of some moderate concern, especially given the strength of depth of some of our rivals - especially Manchester City.
