Positive #3: Havertz can alleviate striker woes

Many Arsenal fans have been calling for the club to sign a striker this summer, but those appeals have so far fallen on deaf ears, and any striker incoming looks a bleak possibility at best.

Havertz scored with a clinical header, which gave him the look of a clinical striker - which is not too uncommon to what fans were treated to last season.

In fact, his 14 goals and seven assists last season, as well as his goal and assist against Wolves, are ample proof that Arsenal can continue to compete at the highest level despite not having a world-class natural striker.

Negative #3: Occasional issues in defence

In truth, there were not many negatives in yesterday's win, and I am certainly nitpicking here, but the article won't write itself!

William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes have formed a defensive partnership which many consider to be the best, or at least one of the best, in world football.

But, against Wolves, the backline experienced occasional woes and lapses which caused several nervy moments, though the Gunners were not punished.

Everybody knows the quality of the defensive pairing and can be calm about this, though when looking at the game individually - it was certainly a negative compared to other areas on the day.
