Before an emerging Gunners outfit rocked up in N17 at the start of 2023 to face a declining Antonio Conte-led Lilywhite side, Arsenal hadn't won away at Tottenham in the Premier League since 2014 - when Tomas Rosicky's outrageous strike inspired a 1-0 win at White Hart Lane.

Since then, though, Arsenal have won three on the bounce at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. After claiming a 2-0 win in 2023, Arsenal held on for a 3-2 win down the stretch last season before winning again on Sunday.

Arsene Wenger never oversaw three successive victories in N17. This is Arsenal's first such run since 1988!

Three point lane.

It's been a tough year for Martinelli thus far. After battling injury and losing his place to Leandro Trossard in the team, the Brazilian is without a goal contribution through four games in 2024/25. It's early doors, but he needs a shot of confidence, that's for sure.

We know Martinelli remains rough around the edges and is far from the most refined winger on the planet, but he seemed destined for superstardom after a breakthrough 2022/23 campaign in which he scored 15 times in the Premier League from an xG of 9.1.

Martinelli had seemingly developed into a cold-blooded finisher off both feet, but pessimists will perhaps now label that stellar campaign merely anomalous. On Sunday, the winger had a great chance to give Arsenal a first-half lead when he burst in behind Pedro Porro, but instead of cutting across Micky van de Ven or crossing for Bukayo Saka, Martinelli took his shot early and telegraphed its intended target. In the end, the effort was tame and Guglielmo Vicario comfortably saved.

He had some bright moments one-on-one and did cause Pedro Porro a few early problems, but he seems to have lost his sharp-shooter instincts.
