Positive #3: The defence looks great again

Arsenal were not exciting in the first half of the season but one thing that helped them to remain in contention was the defence.

William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Ben White and David Raya have all formed a solid platform for the Gunners to thrive and when you are not conceding goals, it means less is needed from up top.

While they've scored 21 at one end, they've conceded just twice at the other. One was an own goal against Liverpool, the other a late consolation at Nottingham Forest. Against Burnley, the home team had just 11 touches in Arsenal’s box but had no shot on target all game. That is how defensively solid they are at the moment.

Negative #3: No media headlines

Winning by five or more goal margin is becoming a routine for Arsenal which has denied TV pundits and ex-footballers the opportunity to lambast the team or the manager and question their ability to win the title. They must be starving in the last few weeks and long may it last.
