Gabriel Martinelli's struggles this season might convince the club to target a left-sided winger this summer, and I'd look no further than Neco Williams if that was the case.

However, Arsenal are supposedly targeting Crystal Palace's Michael Olise and I simply can't shun such rumours. Get me this menace at the carpet ASAP!

Bukayo Saka needs competition. He also needs some respite. Olise will provide both - and some. The Frenchman has had his fair share of injury woes at Selhurst Park, but Saka's status means he won't be required to play a starring role as such in north London - not right away, at least.

Olise is excellent at hugging the touchline, attracting defenders, and opening up space for teammates to attack infield. He's a superb playmaker from wide areas and a master in one-v-one situations. Purists adore him, but there's more to him than mere aesthetics. Only Cole Palmer is averaging more goals and assists per 90 in the Premier League than Olise this season (500+ minutes).

He can unpick a deep-lying defence, but also provide some thrust and ingenuity in transition. Oh, and don't fret about his defensive output. Olise works hard, and he's only improving without possession.

Saka's presence does make any potential deal tricky given Olise's likely understandable desire to be first-choice, and the Frenchman is bound to have a litany of suitors this summer.
