It has been rumoured that Arsenal could be willing to sell Jakub Kiwior this summer if they were to receive the right offer. However, this would be the wrong decision.

AC Milan are reported to be keen on signing him having had a longstanding interest dating back to last summer. Despite this, the Gunners must stand firm and turn down any potential offers they may receive for the defender.

A sale would certainly guarantee a good income for Arsenal but it would not be a smart move. There are three key reasons why the Gunners should not sell Jakub Kiwior this summer.

1. Season of improvement

Kiwior's first few appearances after first signing for the club in January 2023 raised some eyebrows among fans. However, he had a solid end to his first campaign and became a lot more involved last season.

Throughout the 2023/24 season, he made 20 league appearances, 30 in all competitions, and scored a goal while providing three assists. Kiwior played in a new role at left back in 20 of these appearances.

He struggled at times but adapted well to playing on the left side of the defence and thus improved his ability. Over the course of the season, he evolved into a solid Premier League defender and will only continue to improve next season.
