3 reasons why Arsenal should not sign Pedro Neto
• Astronomical price-tag
• No clear role

3. Where would he fit?
Neto has played more times as a right winger this season than in any other position, which is where he has flourished this season.
But, as you may have already realised, that is exactly where Bukayo Saka currently plays.
While a right winger is absolutely a position that we need to sign a player for, to offer some much-needed cover and rotation for Saka, spending upwards of £80m on a rotation option is a laughable idea.
It is also incredibly difficult to imagine Neto accepting such a role within the squad so, unless Mikel Arteta envisages in another position, the whole idea feels like a non-starter.
And what other position could that be? Gabriel Martinelli hardly feels like a player that we need to upgrade on, with Leandro Trossard already offering very good cover on the left, while he has just a single goal involvement as a centre-forward this season.
