3. Off-field discontent
Allegations, and I really must stress that they are only allegations, of issues away from football have somewhat tainted his name and made some fans question his future at the club.
While it is not for me or you to decide his legal standing, it is an undeniable fact that the scrutiny that he has faced from fans and media in England has been very high.
It feels like a very difficult situation and, to many, it feels as though a move away from the club would be in the best interest of both parties for him to leave the club, and the spotlight that comes with it.
Obviously the situation could be out of anyone's control, as legal proceedings gradually continue, and football is a secondary matter, but it is a difficult point to ignore.
