2. The only way is up
When you lead for 248 days and end up in second, the only palatable response is to then go all the way.
And it is something Arsenal can certainly achieve. The Gunners are one of just two Premier League teams (along with Newcastle) to have improved their points tally year-on-year since 2019/20, while their experience, heavy investment (almost £600m) and world-class, adaptable squad (just ask Rob Edwards) provide all the ammunition they need to claim the crown.
Furthermore, Arteta boasts a reputation for being one of the brightest managers in football and will practically have a fully fit squad, comprised entirely of his own signings, to use as he tries to mastermind a successful domestic finish.
His hard graft means everything about the club - on and off the pitch - is now primed for title glory. This time, the chance cannot slip away.
