3. He loves to play on the front foot
It is becoming far more common for teams to play a low-block against Arsenal. The opposition will often sit in and force Arsenal to break them down. With the Gunners lacking a consistent goalscorer, this has led to a fair few cagey affairs this season.
I have already touched on Raya’s distribution and how that is key to helping this Arsenal attack, but it is the speed at which he does this which is most important. The most common time we see this is from a crossing situation.
