Martin Odegaard has been so consistent this season that often his performances are overlooked because they have become expected of him. 

Odegaard had another strong performance against Brighton and he is quickly cementing himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League. Once again, Arsenal’s captain was influential in leading the high-press and keeping energy in the performance.

The Norwegian had 64 touches and maintained a pass accuracy of 92% before being given a well-deserved rest by Mikel Arteta in the 89th minute. Odegaard has become such an important player since joining from Real Madrid and his performance against Brighton was another reminder of just how important he is to this team.
