Whilst it is David Raya’s name on the list, really this spot belongs to the entire defensive line against Brighton. The home side were unbeaten in 12 games at the Amex yet barely laid a glove on the Arsenal goal.

David Raya made a couple of key stops to keep Arsenal ahead when the sides were only separated by one goal, especially one reminiscent of the goal scored by Porto in the Champions League.

However, it was another strong defensive performance overall. In this congested period of fixtures, it seems to be that the new tactic is to take a comfortable lead before easing off and letting the other team have the ball in non-threatening areas.

After claiming another clean sheet on the road, David Raya became the first Spanish goalkeeper to keep five consecutive clean sheets away from home. Raya currently sits clear at the top of the clean sheet rankings on 12, three clear of his closest challenger.
