3 standout players from Arsenal’s chaotic North London Derby win
Arsenal held off a late Spurs resurgence to take all three points off of their North London Rivals in a 3-2 victory.
The result which seemed guaranteed at half-time means Arsenal will stay top of the league with Manchester City still to play their games in hand.
Arsenal took an early lead from a corner, Saka’s cross was headed goal wards by Pierre-Emile Hojberg.
Saka then turned goalscorer after a rapid Gunners counterattack left the hosts open at the back.
It was 3-0 at half time after Havertz headed in from another corner, as the Gunners looked to be home and hosed.
Tottenham fought back in the second half, making the most of Arsenal’s sloppiness to score twice but Arsenal held on to win.

1. Kai Havertz
A regular feature on this list, Kai Havertz continued his run of fine form against Tottenham.
The centre forward made himself a nuisance up front and it was his quick pass which set up Saka to make it 2-0.
Havertz then added a goal of his own which eventually proved vital, as the German took his season tally to 18 G/A in the Premier League.
He was perhaps most impressive in his ability to break up the play. When Arsenal were under pressure late on, Havertz was on hand to win fouls and give Arsenal ground further up the pitch.
