It was yet another commanding performance from Rice, who is yet to have a bad game in an Arsenal shirt.

The club's record signing clearly had an eye for goal, having had three shots on target, and was rewarded for his efforts with a finely taken goal, while also boasting an 89% pass success rate.

On the few times that Sheffield United found themselves in possession in midfield, they were almost immediately suffocated and that is largely thanks to Rice - who also completed two tackles and a clearance during an otherwise offensive masterclass.

With tough games fast approaching as the title race takes flight, his ability to consistently perform to this level will be integral to our chances of silverware this season and, based on his performance at Bramall Lane, we will have every chance of doing exactly that.
