Arsenal scored three times to beat Bournemouth on home soil and keep the pressure on Manchester City in the title race.

The result saw Arsenal go four points clear of Manchester City although the Gunners have played more games than City.

The Gunners ran out 3-0 victors as David Raya earned himself the Golden Glove trophy to become the first Arsenal keeper since Petr Cech to win the award.

Arsenal missed a lot of chances in the first half and for a time it seemed the home side were in for a repeat of their recent game against Aston Villa.

Bukayo Saka finally gave Arsenal the lead from the penalty spot just before half time after Kai Havertz was fouled in the box.

Bournemouth looked far more lively in the second half but Leandro Trossard scored the next goal, giving the Gunners a much needed two-goal cushion.

VAR wiped out a goal apiece for each side before Declan Rice added his name to the scoresheet to give the Gunners a 3-0 win.

The Arsenal fans serenaded their star midfielder with chants of ‘Declan Rice, we got him half price’ and with every performance, the words of that song become truer.

It was another exceptional performance from Rice who has transformed this Arsenal midfield since his arrival last summer.

Rice controlled the middle of the pitch winning three duels and making seven recoveries. Going forward, the midfielder looked impressive and his movement both on and off the ball was superb.

The midfielder added to his season tally notching a goal and an assist to take his total goal contributions to 15 for the season in the Premier League.
