The Gunners struggled to make the most of their early chances in the first half and the nerves were beginning to build.
On the stroke of half time, Leandro Trossard found the top corner to finally give Arsenal the lead and settle the anxieties of the squad.
Arsenal looked far calmer and in control in the second half and Martin Odegaard secured the three points in stoppage time from an impossible angle to send Arsenal to the top of the league.

In a game where the result was in the balance for so long, Arsenal were forced to work hard on and off the ball to keep in control of the points.
Declan Rice epitomised the workmanlike performance of Arsenal’s midfield as the Gunners record signing once again proved his worth.
Rice showed calmness on the ball and as the game progressed, his willingness to run with the ball at his feet repeatedly led to goalscoring opportunities.
His defensive qualities were also on show, as Rice cleaned up in the midfield winning six duels and two tackles.
