3 standout players from Arsenal's 5-0 win over Burnley

  • Arsenal cruised to an easy 5-0 victory against a Burnley side that never stood a chance.
  • Martin Odegaard's dagger four minutes in and Bukayo Saka goal straight after half-time cut any wind there may have been in Burnley's sails at the start of both halves.

It feels good to be an Arsenal fan right now.

Since coming back from the winter break, the Gunners have been on fire, and the 5-0 over Burnley wasn't even the best performance in the last five games.

The defence did not even concede a shot on target, meaning that David Raya has faced two shots on target in his last three games. That is just insane.

At the other end, goals are pouring in. Martin Odegaard got back on the scoresheet for the first time in a while as regular culprits Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard scored again, as well as Kai Havertz.

There is nothing to complain about at the minute, so let's just enjoy the performance and go over Arsenal's best players in the game.

1. Bukayo Saka

I do not care what anyone says; Bukayo Saka is world-class without a doubt.

He was as good as ever against Burnley. His first goal was a penalty that honestly should have been saved.

Saka added a second about a minute into the second half with a trademark right-foot finish.

How are you supposed to defend against a player who can cut in and finish with his left foot or shift it onto his right boot and whack it into the top corner?

His footballing IQ is evident every time he steps on the pitch. His tireless attacking work is matched only by his tireless defending work and he is the crown jewel of this Arsenal attack. Our Starboy.
