3 standout players from Arsenal's 5-0 win over Burnley
- Arsenal cruised to an easy 5-0 victory against a Burnley side that never stood a chance.
- Martin Odegaard's dagger four minutes in and Bukayo Saka goal straight after half-time cut any wind there may have been in Burnley's sails at the start of both halves.
3. Kai Havertz
As usual, Kai Havertz was instrumental out of possession at Turf Moor. It is so important for a team that has such elite players in possession to have someone who could make a huge difference without it, and the German did that (as usual).
He drew the players away from Odegaard for the opening goal and was involved in one way or another in every goal.
Then, as the cherry on top, he scored a beautiful goal to cap off an incredible Arsenal performance. He slid the ball right through a Burnley defender's legs and coolly finished it off to make it 5-0.
He may look a bit clumsy at times but he makes Arsenal much better, especially in a game like this.
The front five we currently have is devastating and can score in so many ways. It really is a pleasure to watch and Arsenal swept away a team that could have made for a tricky fixture.
The aim is now to keep on winning and to put pressure on both Manchester City and Liverpool. COYG
