3 standout players from Arsenal's battling 2-1 win over Brentford
• Captain leading by example
• King Kai strikes again

3. Kai Havertz
Praising Havertz is, thankfully, becoming a near-weekly occurrence now, but the Emirates Stadium breaking out into yet another rendition of '60 million down the drain, Kai Havertz scores again' is all the proof needed that such praise is justified.
It would be difficult to ignore his goal, which ultimately won the game for the Gunners but, in my opinion, it was his all-round display which should see him lauded.
The 24-year-old was a constant menace to the Brentford defence, and found the perfect ratio between hold-up play and offensive play, having taken four shots during the game, with 50% of those on target.
There is still undoubtedly room for the German to improve his game, but seeing him become so influential to our style of play and results is an amazing sight, especially given the criticism that he faced nearer the start of the season.
