Southampton have had a very poor start to the season, upon their return to the Premier League. With one draw and five losses in their opening six games, the Saints are currently sat in 19th position.

Russell Martin is facing rumours of the sack, with the Saints board reportedly split over their decision on his future. With the pressure mounting on Martin and his team, Arsenal should really be cruising to victory in this game.

The Gunners must be weary of course as they will be well aware anything can happen in football. Their 3-3 draw with Southampton in April 2023, the game that arguably cost them the league title, will blatantly show this. However, the visitors have never won at Arsenal and it seems unlikely this will change on Saturday.
