In an ideal world, Arsenal would make these 3 transfers on deadline day. However, in the unfortunate un-ideal world, they won't.

Transfer Deadline Day doesn't hold the same excitement as it once did. This is probably due to transfers being leaked weeks or even months before they are finalised. Still, Arsenal fans can reminisce on the good old days, when the likes of Mesut Ozil crept through.

It remains to be seen whether or not Arsenal are active in today's deadline day. In case you weren't aware, all transfers must be completed before 11pm BST today (Friday 30 August).

Overall, Arsenal's squad looks pretty good. They have a great chance to finally win the Premier League, at the third consecutive attempt.

However, here are 3 transfers which Arsenal would make on transfer deadline day in an ideal world but due to the world being un-ideal, won't make.

3 transfers Arsenal should make on deadline day, but won’t

1. Kingsley Coman

One player who could be a key part of the summer transfer window deadline day is Kingsley Coman. According to journalist Sami Mokbel, Arsenal are currently exploring a deadline day move for the Bayern Munich forward.

Kingsley Coman is one of the players at risk of being dropped under new manager Vincent Kompany. The Frenchman does not start for the Bavarians at the best of times, let alone given their new additions.

Coman is an exceptional, multidimensional player who would be a dream for Mikel Arteta. It would also sove the dilemma of overworking Bukayo Saka. In an ideal world, Arsenal should sign him.

2. Rodrygo

A less realistic option for Arsenal to sign on transfer deadline day is Rodrygo of Real Madrid. Hey, we can dream, right?

The Brazil international is one of the best players in the world but, even under the incredible management of Carlo Ancelotti, it is hard to imagine he will see as much game time this year.

Not to cling onto the 1% chance of signing Rodrygo, but he is a potential sale for Los Blancos, if not this summer then later down the line. His behaviour is under question, with some staff thinking it could become detrimental.

If Real Madrid see it best to discard Rodrygo from the squad, Arsenal will happily do them a favour...

3. Victor Osimhen

As things stand, it looks like Osimhen has two choices: Chelsea or Saudi Arabia. Ageing at 25 years old, it must be felt that Osimhen should be striving for more than those two choices.

If Osimhen wants to move to London, it would be a dream situation for Arsenal to offer him a great contract and deter him from Chelsea.

It is unrealistic but it would essentially hand Arsenal the Premier League title.
