We all know that Arsenal love a signing for the future. No matter what happens in the transfer window, they always appear to have room in the budget for one signing with the future in mind.
For Edu Gaspar, a golden opportunity has presented itself. Recently, Carlo Ancelotti placed a promising Real Madrid academy graduate on the transfer list. They will sell Alvaro Rodriguez, who has great experience with Real Madrid, having already scored in a Madrid derby. What's even better from Arsenal's perspective, is that the Spanish capital only expect €10m for Rodriguez.

Admittedly, Arsenal would like to sign an established centre forward but as a player with promising potential, Mikel Arteta would be best placed to take up this opportunity with Alvaro Rodriguez. After all, at just €10m, this seems like a win-win scenario.
