3. Declan Rice
Set-piece wizardry probably wasn't one of the attributes Arteta and technical director Edu zeroed in on when they decided to pay £105m to pry Rice from the Hammers. It's a bonus then that Rice continues to deliver from dead-ball situations.
Two deliveries, one for William Saliba, the other for Gabriel Magalhaes, added to Rice's burgeoning reputation in this area.
Rice saved plenty for open play. Plenty of energy. Plenty of strength. Plenty of smart and steady use of the ball. Plenty of power in the pinpoint shot that netted Arsenal's sixth goal. Plenty of restraint to keep the 'celebration police' happy.
It's close to impossible to ever call a £100 million-plus player a bargain, but Rice is doing all he can to provide great value.
As good as he is, though, Rice is not as valuable as Arsenal's star on the wing.
