2. Left back dilemma

Arteta has a dilemma on his hands in terms of who to start at left back against Wolves following impressive recent performances by both Oleksandr Zinchenko and new signing Riccardo Calafiori.

Zinchenko enjoyed a good end to pre-season but remains a defensive liability, as was shown plenty of times last season. Calafiori impressed on his debut after initially coming on at left back before switching to centre back. Despite performing well, the Italy international is probably not quite ready to be thrown in the deep end by starting a Premier League game instantly.

Despite his weaker defensive ability, Zinchenko should start the game due to his far superior Premier League experience. Calafiori will no doubt be introduced as a substitute at some point in the match.
