After a long spell out, Jurrien Timber made his return to footballing action on Monday when he started for Arsenal Under-21s in their 2-2 draw away to Blackburn Rovers. The Netherlands international marked his comeback with a stunning goal to give his side the lead before being withdrawn at half-time.

When asked about Timber's availability in his pre-match press conference, Mikel Arteta said that a decision on the Dutchman's involvement will be made tomorrow after first-team training.
