While technically no longer a youngster, Arthur Okonkwo does deserve a chance at Arsenal. He was promoted to the first team in 2021 but is yet to make his competitive debut for the club.

He spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Crewe Alexandra and Sturm Graz, finishing second in the Austrian Bundesliga with the latter. Okonkwo joined Wrexham on a season-long loan in September 2023 and has made 30 league appearances for the Welsh side, keeping 12 clean sheets in the process.

Having saved 89 out of the 115 shots he has faced, Okonkwo has a save percentage of 77.39%, which puts him in the 94th percentile of League Two goalkeepers. He has been a crucial asset to Wrexham's hunt for promotion this season and has certainly made a case to be given a chance at his parent club.

With some valuable and impressive first team experience under his belt, Arthur Okonkwo should be given a chance at Arsenal next season. With Aaron Ramsdale expected to leave the club, although a bold choice, Okonkwo could step up to become the club's second choice 'keeper behind David Raya and could look to impress in cup competitions.
