I don't think I need to go on a rant about why Arsenal should sign David Raya. It seems that Mikel Arteta has made his mind up about the Spaniard and will sign him permanently when his loan contract expires at the end of the season .
Arteta went out on a limb to not only sign David Raya, but implement him as the first-choice goalkeeper. In hindsight, fans should have noticed that signing a first-team-level goalkeeper on loan showed no signs of using him as a backup.

Putting their love for Aaron Ramsdale aside, no Arsenal fan can admit that David Raya hasn't been phenomenal. Granted, his shot-stopping could do with a little improvement but he makes up for it with his commanding in the box and INSANE distribution, which has only aided the club's attacking displays.
Running out of contract might actually be a good thing, since he can officially become an Arsenal player.
