2. Gabriel Martinelli

Speaking of Fabio, his good friend Martinelli isn't off the hook either. However, he understandably gets more leeway considering everybody already knows about his brilliant talent.

Last campaign, Gabriel Martinelli was severely underwhelming. He was not at the level which Arsenal fans know he can reach. In fact, Martinelli scored just six Premier League goals, providing four assists. This was an unfathomable drop from the previous season, where he scored 15 goals and provided five assists.

This was noticed by Mikel Arteta, who towards the end of the season, granted far less minutes to Gabriel Martinelli and handed them to Leandro Trossard instead. The difference between the Brazilian and the Belgian is that the latter made the most of his chances, rendering Martinelli to an unfortunate position on the bench.

Hopefully, though, this can be put down to a "blip season" for Martinelli. There is certainly quality there and considering he is now scoring for Brazil, the chances of a great comeback season are very high.
