3. Gabriel Jesus
Gabriel Jesus admitted himself that last time out was not the best season. While he showed signs of quality and most notably scored against Man United and put in a great performance from the bench against Bayern Munich, Jesus overall performed below his own high expectations.
Not the best season for me personally, things didn’t go as i planned, but i couldn’t be prouder of the team i’m part of. This group is amazing and we’re showing that season after season. Learning under Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta for most of his career, it is understandable that Jesus has high standards of himself. This is exactly why he was signed from the Etihad in 2022, to bring that winning mentality to the Emirates.
If anybody feels hard done by that Arsenal have not won the title in the last two attempts, it will be Jesus. After all, he has become quite accustomed to lifting the iconic silverware. Therefore, he will be eager to kick on next season.
It was a season to forget, but this will only inspire the player who is full of flair to step-up in 2024/25, and he is an early pick for a player to watch.
