Arsenal are yet to make any signings in the summer transfer window. However, Mikel Arteta does plan to bring in some reinforcements which will impact some of the squad. Before any new signings are even made, it looks like there are certain Arsenal players who will struggle regardless. 5 Arsenal players who will struggle for game-time in 2024/25

1. Gabriel Jesus

The 2023/24 campaign was not the best for Gabriel Jesus. As his own harshest critic, the Brazil international was the first to admit that he couldn't reach his own standards last season. While he will hope to improve in the upcoming season, his game-time is bound to take a hit.

Arsenal plan to go into the 2024/25 campaign with Kai Havertz as their main striker. This already hinders Jesus, let alone when you factor in that Mikel Arteta would like to bring in more winger reinforcements in the summer transfer window.

If Mikel Arteta carries out his own transfer plans, then Gabriel Jesus will suffer. Now two years into his Arsenal stay, it has been nothing short of misery. Injuries certainly haven't helped Jesus but he's struggled to fill that goal-scoring void which Arsenal originally planned to fill.

As mentioned, next season won't be much easier for Jesus, with the exception of any injuries or suspensions which could grant him time.
