3. Gabriel Martinelli

I hate to say it but the growing feeling is that Gabriel Martinelli may have been pushed out of the starting lineup. Whereas before it was Martinelli who would start and Leandro Trossard would come off the bench, Trossard's form has made it impossible to bench him. Therefore, Martinelli could take a step back in the 2024/25 season.

It is a difficult decision, so it remains to be seen who Mikel Arteta would prefer to start. However, the left side of the attack is pretty much guaranteed to cause trouble, no matter who starts.

The worst case scenario is that Gabriel Martinelli would have to play a role from the bench but admittedly, even this would be enough to envoke fear into the opposition. A fresh Martinelli coming off the bench to terrify tired legs is an exciting thought for Arsenal fans, after all.
