Arsenal have already bode farewell to Emile Smith Rowe and it still hasn't sunk into Arsenal fans' minds yet that the Hale End graduate is no longer an Arsenal player. The London-born midfielder has joined Fulham, after unfortunately failing his quest to become an Arsenal legend.

Well, this week, Arsenal fans fear they may have to bid farewell to another Hale End graduate, as Eddie Nketiah is seriously linked with a move away from North London. Roberto De Zerbi is keen to bring Nketiah to Ligue 1 to join Marseille, and reports from Football London even indicate that personal terms have been agreed, it is a matter of club terms now.

With that being said, here are 3 Eddie Nketiah replacements for Arsenal to consider...

1. Joao Pedro

Joao Pedro would be an incredible alternative for Eddie Nketiah and unlike the Englishman, he could genuinely push for a place in the starting lineup. The jury is still out as to whether or not Arsenal need a starting striker, with Kai Havertz showing great form in 2024.

According to a report from Football Transfers, Joao Pedro is a striker who Arsenal are genuinely interested in signing. The report claims that Arsenal are "showing an interest" amid conversations between Mikel Arteta and Edu about the possibility of bringing the Brighton and Hove Albion man to the Emirates Stadium for the 2024/25 campaign.

Pedro has been coached by Roberto De Zerbi, so it goes without saying that he is finely tuned to operate the strikers role for a top club. However, no concrete moves have been made to sign Joao Pedro yet, it is simply interest at this stage.

2. Brian Brobbey

Eddie Nketiah was not a starter for Arsenal, so it could be a case that Arsenal stick within the realm of this squad role when searching for his replacement. So, naturally, Ajax striker Brian Brobbey has been touted as a potential replacement for Nketiah, should he be sold to Marseille this summer.

Brian Brobbey is not near the calibre of world-class, but he is a signing who would suffice. After all, Mikel Arteta requires a player who can come in and provide back up, and perhaps healthy competition, to Kai Havertz. He doesn't necessarily need to sign a world-beater, when financial resources could be spent elsewhere.

Needless to say, Arsenal have a great relationship with Ajax. The Netherlands side is known to be a fine producer of talent, and Arsenal have benefitted from their services over the years. Just last summer, they picked up Jurrien Timber, with both sides equally benefitting from the move. Perhaps it could be replicated this summer with Brobbey.

3. Julian Alvarez

Another club who Arsenal have a surprisingly good relationship with is Man City. Two summers ago, they acquired the double signing of Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko. This summer, they are reported to be interested in the player who Man City signed to replace Jesus, Julian Alvarez.

The Argentine centre forward has had a brilliant year, winning the Premier League and the Copa America, as well as being selected to represent Argentina at the 2024 Olympics. Therefore, he has naturally entered the radar of Mikel Arteta, who will be keeping an eye on his situation should he wish to pick up more game-time for himself.

However, it must be stated that when Man City were in transfer business with Arsenal, they probably didn't foresee Arsenal becoming their main league rivals. Now that Arsenal are in direct competition with them for silverware, it would be a bold move for Man City to sell one of their best players to Arsenal.

Who do you think Arsenal should sign this summer?
