1. His first win coming against Manchester United in 2020
In hindsight, it was a sign of things to come that Mikel Arteta's first win as Arsenal boss came against Manchester United on New Years Day in 2020. Previously, Arsenal had gone through a period of struggling to get results against the traditional "big six".
Goals from Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Nicolas Pepe granted Mikel Arteta his first 2-0 win as head coach and ultimately, many more came against Man United.
2. Winning the FA Cup final against Chelsea in 2020
The second memorable moment from Mikel Arteta's reign as Arsenal manager came later in the year and in fact, the final game of the 2019/20 season. In front of an empty Wembley Stadium, Mikel Arteta guided Arsenal to their first major honour under his tutelage, the 2020 FA Cup. They beat London rivals Chelsea, courtesy of two goals by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
3. THAT comeback against Bournemouth in 2023
A time which united Arsenal fans all over the world came in 2023, when Arsenal completed a miraculous comeback against Bournemouth. After going two goals down at home, Arsenal scored three dramatic second-half goals, including THAT Reiss Nelson goal with the last kick of the game.
Despite this result not leading to anything more in the title race, Emirates Stadium erupted and it was a sign that Arsenal were BACK, giving fans a reason to believe again.
4. Beating Man City in the Community Shield in 2023
A large undertone of Mikel Arteta's reign as Arsenal head coach is the new-age rivalry with Man City. Mikel Arteta came from Man City as their assistant manager and now he has the aim of taking away their domination of English football.
Signs of this being achievable were shown as Arsenal beat Man City on penalties in the 2023 Community Shield, starting the 2023/24 season in the best possible way.

5. Beating Porto on penalties in the Champions League round of 16 in 2024
2023/24 saw Arsenal return to the Champions League for the first time since Arsene Wenger was boss. Arsenal ultimately reached the quarterfinal but it was their round of 16 tie which truly stuck out, as they beat Porto on penalties to win the tie. Winning a penalty shootout is always a nice feeling, so to win one in the Champions League was a standout moment and a sign that Arsenal are back.
