5. Kieran Tierney

Could Kieran Tierney feel like a new signing in the summer transfer window? Well, the more that Zinchenko continues to dissatisfy, the more it seems likely that Tierney could have a place in the starting lineup.

Admittedly, this feels like a long-shot but it is worth considering Kieran Tierney, who returns from loan at the end of the season. The Scotsman is currently on loan at Real Sociedad, making 15 La Liga appearances there this season and providing two assists.

Mikel Arteta does not seem to be the biggest fan of Tierney in the starting lineup but he might have had a change of heart during his loan spell.

Tierney is an excellent option at left-back, that goes without saying. He has a great passing ability and there aren't many better than him when it comes to defending (he's certainly better in this area than Zinchenko).

Of course, I would support any decision made on Tierney's future but I can't help feeling that one last chance could change Arteta's mind.
