4. David Raya

Every goalkeeper is allowed to slip-up from time-to-time.

David Raya is certainly in that camp after his performance against North London derby. Thankfully (and rightly so), there have not been many Arsenal fans calling for him to be dropped, after his mistake in the derby.

Raya slipped up for Arsenal at the weekend, essentially presenting a goal to Cristian Romero. Thankfully for fans, the mistake happened at 0-3 and not 0-0.

Should Raya keep a clean sheet against Bournemouth, which he will be confident to achieve even against Dominic Solanke, then he will be presented the Golden Glove award.

Considering neutral fans, and even some Arsenal fans (guilty), were calling his loan transfer a pointless waste of resources, he's not had a bad season, has he?

So, David Raya will continue to defend the Arsenal goal, as he has done so brilliantly, particularly in 2024.
