5. Gabriel (and William Saliba, obviously)
The middle of the defence essentially picks itself. Gabriel and William Saliba will start every game when they are fully match fit. For Mikel Arteta, there is little time to mess around with squad rotation, Gabriel and William Saliba MUST start.
I have placed a particular importance on Gabriel in this iconic defensive duo. The Brazil international has been the best defender for Arsenal throughout the entirety of the season and he will play a signficant role in this match, coming up against Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer.
Gabriel's role will be to isolate Chelsea's front line, ensuring they do not have a sniff at goal. Needless to say, Chelsea have some physical and tall options in their attack and defence, so defending from open play AND set-pieces will be important. If anyone can claim those aerial duels expertly, it's the Brazilian Gabriel.
