Nuno Tavares signed for Arsenal in 2021 from Benfica for a fee of £7.2m. He went on to play 28 games in his debut season scoring one goal and providing two assists.

While Tavares is a talented footballer, he is also a completely chaotic one. In his sole playing season with the Gunners, he was consistently rash and reckless when on the pitch, making him mistake prone.

He had a disaster game in a 1-0 FA Cup defeat to Nottingham Forest when he was substituted for Kieran Tierney after just 34 minutes.

Tavares has spent the last two seasons out on loan and will likely leave the club permanently this summer making him a poor investment.
