6. Wojciech Szczesny (€15.9m profit)
Wojciech Szczesny is now regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, representing Juventus and having many great performances throughout his time at the Old Lady.
However, it was with Arsenal where he was given the opportunity to make a name for himself. It would be an understatement to say he took that opportunity, developing into one of the best goalkeepers to represent Arsenal during the Emirates Stadium era.

He was signed in the Arsenal academy from Legia Warsaw for a fee of just €50k. He then developed in the youth setup at Hale End before emerging into the first-team goalkeeper at the club. Representing Arsenal for eight years, Szczesny made 132 Premier League appearances between the sticks under Arsene Wenger.
Then, in 2017, Juventus paid a €18.4m fee to Arsenal to sign the Polish goalkeeper, securing a tidy €15.9m in profit for his signature.
