Declan Rice (winner)

Arsenal's record signing Declan Rice would be the primary beneficiary of Arsenal signing Bruno Guimaraes this summer. As two versatile midfielders who could act in a double pivot, single pivot or as box-to-box midfielders, this allows more flexibility to both players.

It remains to be seen how Mikel Arteta plans to use both Declan Rice and Bruno G in the starting lineup but the midfield system will rely on BOTH of their main traits.

Martin Odegaard (winner)

Martin Odegaard currently plays with plenty of freedom as the attacking midfielder. This will not change with Bruno Guimaraes in the starting lineup. If anything, it will only be enhanced by the arrival of Brazilian.

As mentioned, Bruno is capable of acting in a double pivot with Declan Rice, should the game call for it. Therefore, with the defensive solidity secured in the Arsenal midfield, this allows Martin Odegaard to go about his business as usual. In many ways, all three players work together in perfect harmony for the ideal midfield structure, composing of a world-class trio.
