The result in midweek did not go the way Arsenal fans may have liked but from the players' perspective, it was out of their control. 1. Leandro Trossard

The Belgian international has been the best Arsenal player since the turn of 2024. He is the player with the most form and the player you can look at as Arsenal's biggest chance of scoring a goal.

If Arsenal stand any chance of winning the Premier League this season, Leandro Trossard is largely to thank. He obviously scored the winning goal against Manchester United last weekend but he has also scored other important goals, most notably when coming from the bench.

In this match, though, Leandro Trossard deserves to keep up his impressive run of starts. Unfortunately it is at the expense of Gabriel Martinelli (who could still provide plenty of energy from the bench), but Leandro Trossard has become a non-negotiable starter for Arsenal vs Everton.
