Gunners, I challenge you to stop rewatching the highlights from Chelsea's humiliation in midweek (hard task, I know) since next up, it's the North London Derby. This one, arguably, is even more of a must-win for Mikel Arteta. That said, here are seven non-negotiable starters for Arsenal vs Tottenham.
7 non-negotiable starters for Arsenal vs Tottenham
1. Leandro Trossard
Surely this goes without saying, right?
Leandro Trossard is the man of the moment right now and he really is in the form of his life. Another game went by in midweek where Leandro Trossard was on the score-sheet and it seems he can do nothing wrong at the moment.
Of course, the Belgian is in competition for a place with Gabriel Martinelli. Therefore, it could be argued that this position is negotiable but after the performances Trossard has put in recently, there really is no reason for Arteta to bench him.
After all, as the old saying goes, Arteta "must strike while the iron is hot" and Trossard's iron is SCORCHING.
From a tactical standpoint, playing Trossard from the get-go makes the most sense. After all, there is a possibility that Emerson Royal could start for Spurs, with Pedro Porro a doubt (FotMob). Trossard's intelligence could vastly outweigh Royal who isn't the brightest of the bunch.
