3. Jack Wilshere

Jack Wilshere is a well-loved individual at Arsenal and understandably so. In terms of players through the Arsene Wenger era who embodied the club and everything it is about, not many can top Jack Wilshere.

The Englishman definitely had his struggles with Arsenal. Nobody will deny this fact, as much as the fans love him. Most notably, he was ruled out a lot through injury, which is pinpointed as the main reason why he never hit the heights he set himself as a youngster, despite clearly having world-class technical ability.

Wilshere spent ten years with Arsenal, including two loan spells. Eventually, he left to join fellow London side West Ham in 2018. He had a spell with Bournemouth and finished his playing career with Danish side AGF.

Now, Wilshere is a well-regard youth coach at Arsenal. He manages the Arsenal U18 time and has done since he hung up his boots in 2018. It's great to see Wilshere starting off his managerial career the right way, even if his playing career didn't hit the heights it could have.
