6. Thomas Vermaelen
Much like Hleb, Thomas Vermaelen likely regrets his decision to sign for Barcelona. The former Arsenal captain had a great time in North London, despite being out-of-favour a lot of the time under Arsene Wenger. Nobody knows what he expected when he signed for Barcelona in 2014, but it wasn't a smart decision on his behalf.
In truth, the Belgian needed a move away from Arsenal but he ruined his career by signing for Barcelona. In five years for the Catalan side, he made just 34 La Liga appearances. Now, he is retired, after spending his final seasons with Japanes side Vissel Kobe.
7. Alex Song
We might as well kill two birds with one stone - Another Barcelona flop is Alex Song.
In perhaps one of the most heartbreaking tales, Song completely ruined his career by signing for Barcelona. After six promising years at Arsenal, he was beginning to make a real name for himself under Arsene Wenger but at Barcelona, he never fitted in and he wasn't up to the standard to play consistently.
