Declan Rice (DM) - 8/10 - Declan Rice was reportedly nursing an injury ahead of the game, but was fit enough to play the full 90 minutes. This guy does everything right and has been so good for Arsenal since making the moving from West Ham in the summer. His interceptions again was a key feature in the game, always on the alert to block passes coming into midfield from the Brighton defense. Late in the game, he received a pass from Zinchenko after his interception and drove all the way into the Brighton penalty area only for his attempt to be denied by the goalkeeper.

Kai Havertz (CM) - 7.5/10 - Havertz was having one of those days, being part of a team that plays well without making a telling impact. he had few headers wide and got an opportunity to score from a Martinelli cross but could not control his header. The German had the last laugh with the goal that ultimately sealed the win in the second half, receiving the ball from Nketiah to extend Arsenal's lead late in the game.

Martin Odegaard (AM) - 7.5/10 - Odegaard should have scored in this game. He is Arsenal's volume shot taker, always receiving the ball in a good position to shoot. He had a great game and this would have been a 9/10 rating but he missed many goalscoring opportunitities to cap off a really impressive performance.
