- The Gunners ended their pre-season with a 2-0 victory over Lyon at Emirates Stadium
3. Martinelli still struggling
Gabriel Martinelli looked good at times throughout the game, troubling the Lyon defence with his swift pace and immense dribbling ability. However, he still struggled to make a real impact.
The Brazil international lacked a clinical finishing product and this was shown when he failed to score from two golden opportunities. He was put through on goal on two separate occasions but could not beat Lucas Perri either time.
Having struggled last season and at times throughout pre-season, Martinelli will really have to step up his game with the beginning of the new season in clear sight.
